Lady Abigail Penraven returns to her native England to deal with family matters, but a visit to a London gunsmith to repair her trusty Pinfire revolver leads to the kidnapping of her Ute Indian friend Minny. The subsequent gunplay results in Abbie killing a thug who, unbeknown to her, is involved in a conspiracy to thwart the USA’s purchase of Alaska.

 

Abbie returns to the USA in a new role as a British Government agent working with the US, but finds herself caught up in treachery, intrigue and skulduggery, and has to draw on all the skills that first led her to become known as the ‘Pinfire Lady’.

P.J. Gallagher was born in the U.K. and served in the British Army. Currently, living in Ontario, Canada and also Alabama, U.S.A.. He has written and had published close on 20 articles for The Journal of the Royal Artillery (U.K.), competed for the past 20 years in Cowboy Action Shooting and is a collector of antique firearms.
